Rami is an American Singer, Songwriter, Producer and Musician. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, he grew up in Old Bridge, NJ and has been writing, producing, and composing music in the New York City metropolitan area since 2014. Rami creates a unique style of songs within and around the pop, hip-hop and dance genres, and adds to them with his guitar playing and a variety of vocal performance styles. He graduated high school in 2016 and immediately enrolled in a Music Production program at a university in Florida, which he graduated as Valedictorian from in March 2018 and earned a Bachelors Degree.

Rami hosted an Open Mic that he created at a bowling alley for 6 months at the end of college. He played other regional open mics in Florida, and in September of 2017 made his debut performance at Eddie’s Attic in Atlanta, GA; an intimidating audience of fellow singer / songwriters sharing a common start with the likes of John Mayer and Justin Bieber; who performed the same venue early in their developing careers. He has since performed 3 additional shows at Eddie’s Attic through June of 2019.

In spring of 2018, Rami set out to travel the United States making stops in major cities to connect directly with new fans on the streets and sing the chorus of Dream, posting videos clips of their experiences on YouTube and Instagram to promote the song and build the “Rami” brand.

After covering nearly all the major cities within 48 continental United States, Rami went to Nashville to write and record new music. While based in Nashville, Rami played the Bluebird Café, Douglas Corner Café, Millennium Maxwell Hotel and weekly for over 7 months at Commodore Grille at the Holiday Inn Hotel on West End Avenue.

Over the summer and into fall of 2019, Rami made regional trips to perform at Lydia’s On Ludlow in Cincinnati, Music Town Detroit, Mom’s Place in Chicago and Venice Café in St. Louis. He played guitar at Blues Jams at Stevie Ray’s in Louisville and The Slippery Noodle in Indianapolis. In October of 2019 he performed 7 shows in New York City over 5 days. Venues include: Parkside Lounge, Music Inn, Bar Nine, Studio 73 and The Pit – where he performed for an audience of stand up comics. After New York he finished the run of shows with a performance at Dive in Washington D.C.

Rami is now working to complete songs for an EP release anticipated in early 2020.

Earlier Life

Rami started playing piano when he was 8 years old, and took an interest in acting and dancing in his pre-teen years. He started producing music digitally in high school, and began performing as a DJ at parties and school events. He gained local popularity and earned the opportunity to play at some of the best clubs in New York City, such as Webster Hall, Pacha and Stage 48.

Rami earned support of Botnek, with his original track Trip, that was released by Pyro Records in early 2015, and later that year he remixed Major Lazer’s “Too Original”. Over summer 2015 he teamed up a producer and completed his first online LP release: Meet On 32nd Street, an instrumental compilation that features several EDM tracks, as well as pop / rock tracks. Also included as a bonus track, is the theme for Reaching Equilibrium, a student-filmed documentary that Rami produced the score for as well.

In late 2015, he began a pursuit to become a pop vocalist and songwriter. Rami took old journal entries and created lyrics for songs, and began producing music for the songs that were completed in the demo form in May of 2016. He was introduced to a music producer in New York City shortly afterward and began an affiliation as a developing artist.
