Rami is an American Singer, Songwriter, Producer and Musician. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, he grew up in Old Bridge, NJ and has been writing, producing, and composing in the New York City metropolitan area since 2014. Rami creates a unique style of music within and around the pop and dance genres, and adds to them with a variety of vocal performance styles.

Rami started playing piano when he was 8 years old, and took an interest in acting and dancing in his pre-teen years. He started producing music digitally in high school, and began performing as a DJ at parties and school events. He gained local popularity and earned the opportunity to play at some of the best clubs in New York City, such as Webster Hall, Pacha and Stage 48.

Rami earned support of Botnek, with his original track Trip, that was released by Pyro Records in early 2015, and later that year he remixed Major Lazer’s “Too Original”. Over summer 2015 he teamed up a producer and completed his first online LP release: Meet On 32nd Street, an instrumental compilation that features several EDM tracks, as well as pop / rock tracks. Also included as a bonus track, is the theme for Reaching Equilibrium, a student-filmed documentary that Rami produced the score for as well.

In late 2015, he began a pursuit to become a pop vocalist and songwriter. Rami took old journal entries and created lyrics for songs, and began producing music for the songs that were completed in the demo form in May of 2016. He was introduced to a music producer in New York City shortly afterward and began an affiliation as a developing artist. He started college classes in August of 2016, where he studied Music Production.

In late 2016, Rami began performing his music live with an acoustic guitar and piano, at open mic shows locally and nearby to college campus. By summer of 2017, Rami pitched a concept for a weekly Open Mic show in the lounge at a local bowling alley, and the event has grown since. With audiences ranging from classmates and other students to veteran open mic followers in their seventies and eighties; Rami has gained experience performing in front of diverse audiences while hosting his own show and series.

Rami performed four times at Eddie’s Attic Legendary Songwriters Showcase in Atlanta, GA; an audience of fellow songwriters and acoustic performers competing for not only a cash prize, but to share a common start with the likes of John Mayer and Justin Bieber; who performed at the same venue early in their careers. Rami performed in more than 50 cities throughout the US in 2018, and connected directly with new fans on the streets by posting videos clips of their experiences on YouTube and Instagram.

Rami is currently recording in Nashville, where he appeared weekly at Commodore Grille on West End Avenue for 7 months through the winter and spring of 2019. He has performed multiple times at Bluebird Café, Café Coco and Douglas Corner Café – all legendary Nashville songwriter venues. He performed at True Music writers’ competition, and received an honorable mention for “Dream” and upcoming release “Dance”. Over the summer of 2019, while using Nashville as a base of operations; Rami performed full shows at Lydia’s On Ludlow (Cincinnati, OH), Venice Café (St. Louis, MO), Mom’s Place (Chicago, IL) and MusicTown Detroit by Entercom Communications, the CBS Radio affiliate in Detroit, MI. While he is working to complete songs for an upcoming EP release, Rami continues to promote “Dream” on the sidewalks, streets and otherwise around town in every city he visits and has now posted over 1500 videos on YouTube of his experiences with fans from all over the United States.
